Clever skirt!

Not the best photo job, but you get the point.  This is a very clever skirt not being too tight to constrain certain un-constrainables and having just the right amount of stretch in case the un-constrainables do indeed 'run away'.  And never mind the toe cleavage...oopsi.  

In case you're wondering how I've achieved such a banging thighs and butt.... ehem... I have to comment that it takes a LOT of work!  It doesn't happen just over night!  I worked on it hard!  Spaghetti, pizza, cheese!  Lots and lots of cheese!  :) Speaking of which... I must go join Vito on the couch for hot Friday evening of TV watching and random grabbing (of cheese) from the fridge.   Tooddles!

CUTE!

I love Zara home, and I have a number of little accents for our home from there. I was surprized to see the new baby collection! Well maybe it's not new, but I just never paid attention before... :) Of course now I've discovered a whole new ball game of shopping!!!

I don't like things that are ''obvious", so zara stuff is just perfect, having cute baby accents yet still stylish and sophisticated.

Jetting of to Bean Town!

Y'all have a great weekend!! (I daydream about being a southern belle... is that wrong?)

I'm bringing with me one of my mom's newest creations, raisin bread. I'll feed it to Nico and maybe he'll get fat too! :)

Oh and if he will think I'm fat and the words of Sofia Loren won't work. I'll just say what Kate (Winslet) said: "I am not plus size, if you think I am that's just rediculous bullshit!"

Anastasia strikes again...

Am I the only one that gives myself a perfect manicure before going to my hair salon? Anyway Anastasia strikes yet again and my hair is now shorter and whiiiiiiiiteeeer while my complexion seems darker (yes I went to solarium). It's like Marlyn Monroe meets Sofia Loren... and yes there is absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself such aggressive compliments ;)

They're my two beauty icons. I always try to realize blending these two styles... Ahhh a girl can dream can't she!?

note: I realized in my old post I named my hair lady Veronika, but then changed it to Anastasia. She is not really called either name, but both names could fit her perfectly. Just trying to paint a picture see it?

Sweet! ...and Fun!

Yeah, yeah, ok, maybe I AM getting obsessed... and very prematurely at that!

But I've already decided what kind of wedding cake I want...

<-- tada! Gorgeous isn't it!? Now I know y'all gonna go and steal my idea, but that's ok! Oh and I totally want to make it myself. Well, when I say "myself" I really mean, I'll have my friends make it!!!! ;) And yes as for the actual place, I've narrowed it down already here!

Don't freak out, no one is getting hitched or anything, it's just amazing how I've never been interested in ANY of this stuff before. In fact, from about 16 to 19 I've had recurring nightmare that I'm getting married and at the last minute I run out of the building "Runaway Bride" style!

I should just admit it, I kinda, sorta like Nico... in that way... you know... :P

And you know the WORST part about all this!??? I'm not even making myself sick right now, I'm OK with being this way. Kinda new and fun!

lesson kids: Yes life IS all about FUN! It definitely SHOULD be!!

Ok I'm not one of those girls that obsesses about the kind of wedding she'd like, etc, etc, etc... BUT, since we're ALREADY on the subject why don't I share a few ideas that...JUST popped into my head...


So how about forgoing the traditional route, and instead renting out a quaint little chalet for your closest 50 friends and family.







Lets see, there should be some a way to cool down after dancing and drinking like crazies...





Oh yeah, and there'll be lots of food too...

And why not have a bit of a view!?


Now... all I have to do is pick out what I will wear!!!!

Oh yeah, this isn't really crucial or anything, but at SOME point I'll need to notify Nico of all this too. OR MAYBE it can be one huge surprise!!!!!?!!!! ....No wait, that won't work, since he'll be paying for it all too...

The obsession with scandinavian home decor and style continues...

Picked up a dozzen of magazines from all over the world (well, from the world's airports). As much as I try to develop some elegance and sophistication in taste, I still go and bust THIS out from Nico's closet and spead it on the couch for some comfortable movie viewing...























Now, what was such a happily printed comforter doing on the top shelf of his laundry room is a whole other story... I guess we really are a pair!!!

The photographic journey into the heart of ... the shoe!

I had the absolute best weekend! New York got completely SNOWED IN!! There are two feet of snow in




Manhattan!! Ahhh sooo beautiful!!!

I knew the snow was coming so I got out of the house early on Saturday morning for immediate shopping! I did quite a bit of damage...

1. DKNY silk top
2. Sailor little tee
3. BCBG peak-a-boo toe shoes
4. And wild snake skin shoes

After running and sweeping up the store like a hurricane, I got into a car and drove home just as little snow flakes began to come down...

By evening time snow started to really come down heavy... and by night time it looked like this:

Saturday morning it was just GORGEOUS!

Of course everyone came out to play in the snow...

Than, since the Olympics weren't on yet, I took some pictures of my new beautiful shoes...

And than took more... and... more pictures....





















And then I figured I needed to actually put the shoes on for the full effect. So here is the profile and the full frontal:

Be active...be safe.

Ok, so talking about "Shopaholic" behavior...

I totally went shoegasming at lunch! I got 2 pairs of sketchers active wear shoes!!! (don't call them sneakers.)




















What cuteness!!! Don't you just want to hug them and kiss them and squeeze them!!?!!!

Oh! And the other pair is like this- why stop at just one pair right!? They'll cry... the shoes want
nice friends to play with too! So I got them both. I think I should send Nico boy the pictures. We were just discussing winter jacket purchases the other day. Also, I was explaining to him that the weather in NY is really back and forth right now and that its really messing with my "wardrobe" schedule... He commented that it must be a "woman's" thing, since he doesn't have a problem with scheduling his outfits. ;-) He so wants me!


Lesson kids: (we haven't been learning in a while... so we'll outline a few lessons for today)

1. Too much of a good thing, only leaves you wanting more!
2. Intercontinental relationships CAN truly blossom, with the help of photo exchange. (even of shoe purchases.)

and the most important lesson of today...

3. If you're planning to be "active" in the near future, it is always a good idea to PLAN and PREPARE ahead of time - Make sure you have good active wear!!!
