Corner View: Street Art

Years ago, while on a girls vacation to Sardegna, we stumbled upon these amazing murals of Muravera.  We  were strolling in the direction of the beach during siesta time in peak sun with the whole town shut down except for a few coffee bars containing old men with their mid day espressos.  Being our giggly early 20s type selves talking about our flirtations with boys the previous evening we were completely surprised and taken aback by these amazing murals.

These are really amazing - seeing murals always makes me wondering how it's even possible to get the proportions and perspective right on a big space like a walls...Greetings, Anette

These are incredible! My favorite is the one with the fishermen working together.

Beth, I love the fishermen too, I think this one is supposed to be a bit communist. As in, let's work together for our bright future... hmmm

i had a dream once about the dude with the pipes--but the pipes were snakes. i haven't looked at these pics in years, but it took me right back to walking around. what an amazing trip.
