I want to sell something on ebay, what should I sell?????
Now I'm not trying to make a big business out of it or anything, just want to sell a few things for fun... But don't know what??? I have a TON of books, but they're all in kinda yukky state with chocolate all over them and stuff. Cadiz said to paint something and sell it, but that requires "work". My furniture, which is only a few things, from my apartment in the city cost me pennies to begin with... What do I sell??

When you figure out how to do it, let me know. I want to sell some things on Ebay also.
You could always sell your soul. I'd sell mine, but I misplaced it a few years ago...
If you are to sell your soul, do as Homer did (I'm a freak).
I used Amazon when I moved out of London to sell off some books I didn't want to carry around. It worked well. Why do you want to do so? Just for the experience? Otherwise, you can give your books to charity. Then I can go and buy them. I like to buy books and CDs at charity shops. It's almost like someone had given it to me.
caribbean, well apparently you just sign up, upload pictures, get a pay pall acct and thats it. if you already know what to sell ebay issue is 99% solved.
viking- interesting... any particular reason you misplaced your soul a few years ago? in any case, i hear souls dont cost much anyway...
habibi, i just want to give it a try and see what the big deal is, and if it may be possible to make money with it. i know a few people that sell through, ebay but i've no desire to sell kareoke machines, or rubber fishing boats...
make up celebrity related objects....
like take the orphaned purple sock sitting at the bottom of your drawer for 3 years and list it as the sock Lindsay Lohan left behind at rehab....
i bet you'd get 5 dollars....
even if you don't end up selling, just getting rid of stuff can be beneficial; carrying stuff around costs you space and effort, too.
highcon- i should say "allegedly" left behind by lindsay lohan... :)
cadiz- i can donate to charity and write off on taxes.. i should maybe burn my toast to resemble some kind of divinity....
clothes!
cothes... i dont really have super designer stuff.. uff this is hard
Some folks have a deal with manufacturers, they sell the goods on Ebay, the manufacturers ship off the goods, then the manufacturer gets paid after the buyer pays.
The 'university of Ebay' has tons of ideas...go to their website and have a look.
